We recommend using a fine cotton lining behind your embroidery ground fabric. Pima Swiss Cotton Batiste which is our favorite, acts as a stabilizer for your needlework. It has a firm smooth finish that makes it suitable for all weights of embroidery fabrics. Furthermore, the denser the amount of stitching especially using a variety of thread weights and thread constructions, the better control and support a lining provides.
